ANKLE CIRCLING
1) Stand up straight.
2) Lift one foot off the ground and circle it, first one way, then the other.
3) If you’re overbalancing, hold onto something.
4) Now do the same with the other foot.
CALF STRETCH
1) Stand with one leg about 30cm in front of the other. Both legs should be straight but don’t lock the knees. Both feet should face forward.
2) Lean forward, keeping the body straight.
3) Keep the back heel on the floor (you can bend the front leg slightly) and feel the stretch in the calf muscles at the back of your leg.
4) Hold for 10 seconds then swap legs.
